Zusammenfassung:Were the rabbis opposed to apocalyptic Judaism ? That was the question raised in a paper published in the Revue des études juives. A reading of 41 rabbinic texts, related to the tanna'im and mentioning the heavenly voice (bat qol), showed the ambivalent position of the rabbis to apocalyptic : opposition as the main trend but continuity as a minor one. The study of another 41 rabbinic texts, this time related to the amora'im, in the current paper completes the first selection and brings some interesting results. Confirming the initial model, the entire corpus of 82 texts shows specific tendencies in Palestinian and Babylonian rabbinic traditions. The Bat Qol is scarcely quoted in tannaitic literature, and quite rarely in Palestinian amoraic texts (14 times in the Talmud Yerushalmi and 14 in aggadic Midrashim). Only one third of the Palestinian amoraic texts about the Bat Qol are related to apocalyptic themes. Most of the traditions about the Bat Qol appear in the Babylonian Talmud and more than half of them are apocalyptic. Surely, the rabbis are suspicious regarding the direct revelation of the Bat Qol and most of the texts display apocalyptic subjects in a restrictive or negative way.
