Description
Summary:ConclusionIn conclusion, we have presented one small way in which the local church has potential to make a genuine contribution to healing of the sick and keeping the healthy healthy. We have discussed the rationale and present and projected models of church clinics. In the days to follow, we hope to establish and describe models that will deal still more effectively with the vast deficiencies, as seen in a variety of settings, in our health-care delivery system. Considering the tremendous resources of the local parish, we feel that involvement of that institution is most appropriate and are confident that such involvement will be healthy for both the practice of medicine and the mission of the church.
