Description
Summary:In An Intimate Rebuke, Laura Grillo uncovers for Western audiences what is taken for granted in numerous sub-Saharan African societies: the ontological status and cosmic authority postmenopausal Mothers have to disrupt injustice and restore stability during periods of social violence.
