It emphasizes the indispensability of thinking through and implementing education as a teleological and axiological activity. It underscores that the factors underlying educational action are not to be found in technical rationality or in managerial and utilitarian logic. It outlines a relationship that is nourished, not on techniques and emotional anesthetics, but rather on virtue, emotions, environments, and skills that are well summarized in the expression educational care.
