Führen die Präimplantationsdiagnostik und die embryonale Stammzellforschung zur Optimierung des Menschen oder in eine eugenische Gesellschaft? Der Sozialethiker Manfred Spieker konfrontiert den Anspruch der Reproduktionsmediziner und der Politiker, durch die PID Krankheiten und Behinderungen zu vermeiden, mit der Menschenwürdegarantie, dem Lebensrecht, dem Diskriminierungsverbot Behinderter und dem Demokratieprinzip des Grundgesetzes. Der Verfassungsrechtler Christian Hillgruber geht dem Widerspruch zwischen dem verfassungsrechtlichen Verbot der PID und ihrer gesetzlichen Erlaubnis nach: ein Plädoyer für eine Neubewertung der Elternverantwortung von Eizellspenderin und Samenspender und für neue rechtliche Wege bei der Verfassungsbeschwerde zur Wahrung des Lebensrechts. Der Verfassungsrechtler Klaus Ferdinand Gärditz sieht in der Entscheidung des Europäischen Gerichtshofes vom 18.10.2011 zum Patentrecht eine Verteidigung der Würde des Embryos. Er fragt nach den Folgen dieser Entscheidung für die embryonale Stammzellforschung | ||
