| Summary: | This article deals with a form-critical investigation of two cylinder seals from Old-Syrian era and the throne-vision in Isa 6. The cylinder seals contain each two registers at the fringe of the scene depicting persons making a visionary experience. The analysis of both, the cylinder seal rollings and the text show that the artists and the author use mental images which are activated by cultic rituals. Ziel dieses Beitrags ist es, einen formkritischen Zusammenhang zwischen zwei Roll-siegelabbildungen aus altsyrischer Zeit und der Vision in Jes 6. Auf den Rollsiegeln werden in Nebenszenen in jeweils zwei Registern Personen abgebildet, die eine visionäre Erfahrung in einem kultischen Kontext machen. Die Analyse der Siegel sowie des Visionstextes zeigen, dass Künstler / Autor mentale Bilder, die im Kult aktiviert werden, als Grundlage der Darstellung dienen. |
