Summary: | This article deals with a form-critical investigation of two cylinder seals from Old-Syrian era and the throne-vision in Isa 6. The cylinder seals contain each two registers at the fringe of the scene depicting persons making a visionary experience. The analysis of both, the cylinder seal rollings and the text show that the artists and the author use mental images which are activated by cultic rituals. |
