| Summary: | Examinant, d’une part, la façon dont l’instance de la lettre et le référent textuel s’articulent à la dimension de l’inconscient chez Freud et Lacan, et empruntant, d’autre part, à Jean Bellemin-Noël sa notion d’«inconscient du texte», cet article s’intéresse au phénomène des «blancs» du texte biblique. S’il paraît légitime d’affirmer que la Bible a un inconscient, c’est en tant qu’elle est traversée d’un non-savoir radical qui empêche le texte de coïncider avec lui-même et avec son lecteur, et qui est le ressort de l’interprétation dans un rapport inventif au sens. Examining, on the one hand, the way in which the instance of the letter and the textual referent relate to the dimension of the unconscious in Freud and Lacan, and borrowing, on the other hand, from Jean Bellemin-Noël his notion of «the unconscious of the text», this article focuses on the phenomenon of the «whites» of the biblical text. To assert that the Bible has an unconscious seems legitimate because it is passed through by a radical not knowing which prevents the text from coinciding with itself and its reader, and which is the basis of interpretation in an inventive relationship to the meaning. |
