Together with D. C. Schindler's Companion, this difficult book is made more accessible. While Ulrich's Homo Abyssus generates sophisticated and nuanced responses to various forms of post- or anti-metaphysical theology (especially those in the wake of Heidegger), perhaps its greatest contribution is an altogether more humane way of pursuing metaphysics. |
