| Summary: | Considere-se a importância das diferenças religiosas na própria construção identitária. Ela traz consigo a força dialética das antíteses; alternativas às sínteses sociais, teológicas, morais, ideológicas, políticas e eclesiásticas dominantes, oferecendo, a partir do confronto, a oportunidade de escolha entre uma ou outra alternativa. A divergência teológica possibilita essa reflexão sobre atitudes adotadas, apresentando o “novo” enquanto possibilidade.Não se há de negar o fato de que tudo em que hoje se acredita, formou-se em diálogos e conflitos com a alteridade. Since the origins ofWestern religion, it already appears as a product of diverse traditions synthesized in syncretism, from shock and multiple encounters between religious discourses. Still, it is perceived today, various forms of discomfort, unease and even hostility to religious otherness, in clear denial of this hybrid identity. This reality of intolerance that once manifested itself more in physical form, today still has manifested itself through various forms of symbolic violence. It is precisely this new guise of religious intolerance which now has victimized the african-Brazilian cultural identity through discourses that stigmatize the religion of African origin, demonizing it. Thus, this paper constitutes an effort to emphasize the plural marking the various religious traditions, especially the Christian, performing as an alternative in relation to claims for purity and universal truth sometimes used to justify the different manifestations of intolerance religious. |
