Description
Summary:344 GOTR 62:3-4 2017 Conversely, this conference demonstrates that our ancient and venerable faiths, rooted in the soil of this city, are committed to a dialogue of love, mercy, and justice, all of which are attributes of the living God in whose presence we hope to stand. Therefore, the essential dilemma of humanity today is not between "having religion or not having religion", but rather: "what kind of religion." The explosions of fundamentalism within religious communities threaten to create the view that fundamentalism belongs to the essence of the phenomenon of religion.
