Description
Summary:This article traces an approach on Brazilian Protestantism in a historical movement of unfolding churches and religious denominations since its origins. Consequently, a scenario of Pentecostalism was built throughout the 20th century in Brazil, through its churches and religious dissidences. The exercise allows the observation of evangelical communities such as Golgotha, in Curitiba/PR, expression of the emerging churches, which emerged at the turn of the 20th to the 21st century, which resort to the media, relaxed language and target audience like the young undergrounds. One of the central phenomena that allows the relationship between churches and religious denominations, as well as the historical trajectory of the Golgotha Community, is the phenomenon of religious transit, which has marked the practice of Brazilian evangelicals since the 1980s.
