| Summary: | O objetivo central desse artigo é analisar, em perspectiva de gênero, a relação entre religião e política no cenário brasileiro e os contornos que a laicidade adquire a partir dessa conjuntura considerando a atuação de parlamentares federais evangélicos/as na 54ª Legislatura quanto às questões relacionadas aos direitos de reprodução, à sexualidade e/ou que contemplem temas ligados à regulação dos corpos considerando, fundamentalmente, os eventos oriundos da atuação desses/as deputados/as na Comissão de Direitos Humanos e Minorias - CDHM da Câmara Federal enquanto presidida por um parlamentar evangélico. The main objective of this article is analyzing, in a gender perspective, the relationship between religion and politics in the Brazilian scene and contours that secularism acquires from that juncture conside-ring the performance of evangelical federal parliamentary in the 54th Legislature. Issues related to reproductive rights and sexuality, issues related to the regulating of bodies and events resulting from the activities of these congressists in the Commission on Human Rights and Minorities - CDHM of the Federal Chamber while chaired by an evangelical parliamentarian they are nucleic axes delimiting the approach.Methodologically, this construction is based on bibliographical rese-arch in reading and interpretation of the theoretical framework to comprehend the relationship between gender, religion and politics. The performances of the evangelical parliamentary were followed by the filing of draft laws, speeches in Parliament, acting in committees, subcommittees and positioning in voting; therefore the electronic portal of the Federal Chamber was configured as a primary source for access to such information. Semi-structured interviews and policy was yet done with parliamentarians in order to obtain information, to know and to identify motivations, attitudes, beliefs, assumptions, feelings and criticisms about the bounds of secularism in Brazil. |
