| Summary: | Apresento neste artigo um cenário introdutório acerca da identidade religiosa da Igreja da Comunidade Metropolitana (ICM), sinalizando para suas concepções teológicas e enfatizando a flexibilização do discurso sobre sexualidade e gênero e a automarcação identitária da mesma como radicalmente inclusiva e relacionada aos Direitos Humanos. Trata-se de um texto em processo e inconclusivo, fundamentado em entrevista com o reverendo da unidade paulistana da ICM, Cristiano Valério, e análise de escritos do ex-reverendo fluminense da ICM, Márcio Retamero. I present in this article an introductory scenario on the religious identity of the Metropolitan Community Church (MCC), signaling their theological views and emphasizing the flexibility of discourse on sexuality and gender identity and the self-marking a Human Rights church and radically inclusive. It is a text in process and inconclusive, based on an interview with reverend of the São Paulo unit, Cristiano Valerio, and analysis of the writings of ex-reverend of Rio de Janeiro unit, Márcio Retamero. |
