| Summary: | A teologia cristã nasceu no século XIII sob o impulso dos filósofos gregos. O texto faz, de maneira crítica, a história da teologia, mostrando que ela sempre quis atingir a realidade através de conceitos abstratos e raciocínios lógicos. No entanto, ouvir a Palavra de Deus sempre exigiu compreender e seguir a vida de Jesus e a de seus discípulos, olhando a realidade da humanidade no tempo presente. Segue a longa história do legado da teologia cristã fazendo-se notar que hoje, numa Igreja missionária, evangelizadora, há falta de coragem para se fazer as mudanças necessárias. Christian theology came into existence in the 13th century with the impulse of Greek philosophy. This text critically addresses the his-tory of theology, showing that it always wanted to approach reality through abstract concepts and rational reasoning. However, listening to the word of God means understanding and following the life of Jesus and his disciples by looking at the present reality of humanity. It follows the long history of the legacy of Christian theology noting that today, in a missionary, evangelizing Church, there is a lack of courage to make the necessary changes. |
