| Summary: | Este ensaio propõe levantar a questão da relação entre o fundamentalismo e as questões de gênero. A hipótese central é de que há uma inerente incompatibilidade entre as tendências fundamentalistas e a emancipação feminina. A partir de uma abordagem transdisciplinar, caminhamos de uma perspectiva filosófica para uma perspectiva científica que não se limita a apresentar documentos, mas investiga testemunhos, notadamente aqueles que surgem no contexto das artes enquanto cristalização de sentimentos e percepções culturais gerais, com a finalidade de verificar e refletir também sobre as conseqüências psicológicas e sociológicas desta relação, bem como encontrar indícios que talvez ajudem a explicar por que mulheres, dentro dos ambientes fundamentalistas, tendem a abrir mão da luta por seus direitos e conquistas socioculturais. This essay propounds to bring up the question of the relation between fundamentalism and gender issues. The central hypothesis isthat there is an inherent incompatibility be-tween fundamentalist tendencies and women’semancipation. Departing from a transdisciplinary approach we advance from aphilosophical perspective towards a scientific perspective that does not limit itself to offer documentation, but investigates testimonies,notably those appearing in the context of thearts qua crystallization of general, culturalsentiments and perceptions, with the end ofverifying and reflecting on the psychologicaland social consequences of this relation andalso finding indications that may help to ex-plain why women, within fundamentalist envi-ronments, tend to give up the fight for theirrights and socio-cultural conquests. |
