| Summary: | Este artigo procura analisar as relações entregênero, educação e religião e sua convergênciacom as expectativas sociais quanto ao sexofeminino. A religião representa o ponto nevrálgicopara onde convergem as relações depoder estabelecidas no nível simbólico e noimaginário, por aglutinar a essencialidade daexistência humana. A educação perpetua, deforma simbólica, as diferenciações de gênero,ao alocar no espaço escolar as expectativasquanto ao desempenho de papéis sexuais.Dessa forma, as relações de gênero e o poderreal e simbólico edificam-se historicamenteno conservadorismo e em limites estreitos,gerando a perpetuação das desigualdadesentre os sexos. This article aims at analyzing the relations between gender, education and religion and their convergence with the social expectations regarding the female sex. Religion represents the convergence point for the power relations established in the symbolic and imaginary lev-els, due to agglutinating the essentiality of the human existence. Education symbolically per-petuates gender differentiations when placing at the school space the expectations regarding the performance of sexual roles. thus, gender relations and the real and symbolic powers are historically built in conservatism and narrow limits, generating the perpetuation of inequali-ties between sexes. |
