| Summary: | Due to engineering and robotics, in the current age of technology humans are being propelled towards a posthuman dimension in which technology itself passes from being a functional extension of the constituent elements of what is human to being a totalizing system, within which humans configure themselves as biochemical algorithms. By doing so humanity is moving towards a dimension that is not without risks, the most serious of which is the possibility of the reproduction of a series of "supermen," or humans "empowered" by a technical apparatus capable of entering the deepest folds of flesh, distinct from the mass of "simple" humans who are destined to perennial submission. To avert such a dangerous prospect, we must support all that is human, the sole species in the world capable of flexibly collaborating with the many others, which from an eco-systemic perspective share the same destiny.
