Summary: | In recent years, Muslim styles have dominated the fashion market in Indonesia. Many well-known brands have switched to producing Muslim clothing and had catwalks at the Muslim Fashion Festival. Although fashion is one of the most visible aspects of a society, it is often the most overlooked, especially by Christians. This article provides a theology of fashion that discusses the theological basis of fashion, how God as the first designer uses clothing as a symbol of redemption and salvation, and how believers should think of fashion as a means of mission and ministry. |
