Die Wahrheit beginnt mit zwei: die Bibel als Ausgangspunkt einer antisemitismuskritischen außerschulischen Bildungsarbeit der Kirchen

| Summary: | Considering that anti-Semitism is manifesting itself much more openly in our time, the Church’s educational work of generating a stance critical toward anti-Semitism is often supported, but rarely is this demand fulfilled in theory and/or practice. The Bible and its hermeneutics play a central role in the establishment of an anti-anti-Semitic non-formal educational work. The essay illuminates the fundamental connection between antisemitism and the Christian understanding of itself as well as of the Bible. It highlights the danger of a rather common "hermeneutics of projection" and contrasts this with a "hermeneutics of ambivalence" as a condition for the success of anti-anti-Semitic educational work. These hermeneutics must first be established in the education, further qualification, and professional development of multipliers of church educational work, so that anti-anti-Semitic informal Christian educational work can succeed. Antisemitismuskritische Bildungsarbeit der Kirche wird angesichts des gegenwärtig sehr viel offener zu Tage tretenden Antisemitismus zwar oft gefordert, aber selten wird diese Forderung auch theoretisch und/oder praktisch eingelöst. Die Bibel und ihre Hermeneutik spielen für die Etablierung einer antisemitismuskritischen außerschulischen Bildungsarbeit, so die These des vorliegenden Aufsatzes, eine zentrale Rolle: Der Aufsatz beleuchtet den grundlegenden Zusammenhang von Antisemitismus und christlichem Selbst- und Schriftverständnis. Dabei arbeitet er die Gefahr einer eher üblichen "Hermeneutik der Projektion" heraus und stellt dieser eine "Hermeneutik der Ambivalenz" als Gelingensbedingung für eine antisemitismuskritische Bildungsarbeit entgegen. Diese Hermeneutik muss zunächst in der Aus-, Fort- und Weiterbildung von Multiplikatorinnen und Multiplikatoren kirchlicher Bildungsarbeit etabliert werden, damit antisemitismuskritische außerschulische Bildungsarbeit gelingen kann. |
