Summary:Motivation is the driving force within people which spurs them to overcome the many obstacles present with loss of physical, sensory and mental abilities. The medical rehabilitation team alone cannot motivate people to participate; the motivation must come from within. From a lifetime of service as a medical rehabilitation practitioner, this physician consistently observed sincere belief and faith in God to produce the motivating force when all else failed.
