| Summary: | For long, the controversies over reincarnation have failed to be put to rest. This is because the phenomenon is one that relates to many fields of study and thus can only be examined using a multi-disciplinary approach. From Islamic point of view, in spite of the numerous things that have been said or written about reincarnation, the failure to nip the concept in the bud lies in incognito of the relationship between mankind and Jinn. It has been established through this paper that what many have often termed as reincarnation of a deceased person can well be viewed in the light of the influence of Jinn on man for the former has the power to transform to or wear the face of a man, deceased or living. Besides, careful study of the paper reveals that reincarnation is common among the individuals that relate more with the world of spirits. |
