Neben dem umfangreichsten Komplex der Werke zur hebräischen Philologie gehören dazu jüdische und christliche Bibelausgaben und Gebetbücher, Rabbinica, christliche Missionsschriften, Zeugnisse der Haskala, Gelegenheitsdrucke sowie hebräische und jiddische Einblattdrucke. Die besonders wertvolle Sammlung jiddischer Drucke liegt in einer Mikroficheedition vor.Der Katalog in gedruckter Form erschließt die Titel sowohl in hebräischer Schrift als auch in Transliteration. Fertiggestellt ist der Katalog der jiddischen Drucke, die Bände zur hebräischen Philologie und zur hebräischen Literatur sind in Vorbereitung. Judaica bis 1850 sind im Gemeinsamen Verbundkatalog (GVK) nachgewiesen,Hebraica werden sukzessive eingegeben. The holdings of the Rostock University Library are based on a Christian-oriented collection policy and hold works of Judaica and Hebraica dating from the 15th century to the 20th century.Along with the extensive array of works dedicated to Hebrew philology, the collection includes Jewish and Christian Bibles, prayer books, Rabbinica, Christian missionary leaflets, works related to the Haskalah, occasional papers, as well as Hebrew and Yiddish broadsheets. The especially valuable collection of Yiddish printed works is available on microfiche. A printed catalogue includes titles both in Hebrew script as well as in transliteration. The catalogue of Yiddish printed works is now complete, while the volumes on Hebrew philology and Hebraic literature are in preparation. Judaica published before 1850 have been entered into the online union catalogue GVK (Gemeinsamer Verbundkatalog) and Hebraica are being successively added at present. |
