| Summary: | A concepção de cada igreja da salvação, das relações entre Deus, o ser humano e o mundo descreve-se, a partir da doutrina de cada confissão ou denominação. Entretanto, a doutrina não é a única fornecedora de sentido religioso. Como exemplo, o artigo investiga as origens do imaginário salvífico do folheto Livrinho do Coração / Coração do homem e sua divulgação contemporânea. Mostra-se que o discurso imagético reproduzido no Brasil por editoras presbiterianas, metodistas, pentecostais e batistas parte do discurso emblemático da contrareforma. Levanta-se a tese que o imaginário promovido dessa publicação constróe um imaginário transconfessional com raizes muito antigas e profundas. Every church ́s concept of salvation, the relation between God, the hu-man being, and the world, its possible transformation or the extent of it is build upon its doctrine. This article investigates the construction of the imaginary of the booklet Thebook of the heart, its use of the imagetic or emblematic discourse of the Counter-Reformation and its reproduction by Presbyterian, Methodist, Pentecostal and Baptist editors. The article comes to the conclusion that the imaginary of this publication is more transconfessional than is normally assumed. |
