Every method reflects different theological presuppositions, aims, and sensibilities, which do not necessarily have to be opposed. The present paper proposes a reconstruction of certain conceptual points, which animate the debate, and emphasizes the necessity that the choice of method must remain functional to the analysis of the biblical text and not vice versa. |
