| Summary: | After an analysis of the three monotheistic religions and the realms where intolerance historically manifested itself – among the monotheistic religions themselves, within every monotheistic religion, of the monotheistic religions towards other peoples – we will take a closer look at Christian monotheism in its universalistic dialectic and in the determination option: does Christianity consider «the other» as brother or enemy? This is the starting point for a possible dialogue that fundamentally must encompass the capacity of reciprocal listening to the others’ sacred stories. |
