Description
Summary:The concept of the soul was one of the subjects which was largely neglected in the theology, philosophy and psychology of the 20th century. This is a result of the destruction of its metaphysical basis at the end of the 18th century. Without the soul, our concept of human beings remains incomplete in one essential sense. In connection with Kant, Husserl, Heidegger, Krüger, Gehlen and modern emotion psychology, the author attempts to rediscover a concept of the soul based on experience which remains untouched by its aporia of substantial ontology.
