| Summary: | La laicidad, al igual que otros conceptos recurrentes de las ciencias sociales de la religión, se identifica por su carácter polisémico. De las discusiones entre especialistas en el ámbito académico a las referencias desde espacios religiosos o de organizaciones de la sociedad civil que reivindican diversos derechos ciudadanos, disímiles argumentaciones teóricas y normativas son esgrimidas en torno a la laicidad del Estado. La inexistencia de una noción paradigmática ha potenciado, en no pocas oportunidades, reflexiones y apelaciones sin soportes epistemológicos.Este artículo se propone poner a prueba un instrumento metodológico, derivado de un ejercicio de operacionalización del concepto de laicidad, a los fines de identificar las diversas modalidades y formatos asumidos por la laicidad en el plano jurídico, en la gestión estatal y en la cultura política en Argentina. Laicity, just like other recurrent concepts in the social sciences of religion, is marked by a polissemic character. From the discussions among academic specialists to the voices conveyed by religious spaces and organizations of civil society dealing with various rights of citizenship, there is a clash between distinct teoretical and normative arguments, in the subject-matter of the laicity of the state. The inexistence of a paradigmatic notion ended up giving room to thoughts and claims without any epistemological basis.This artigle aims at testing a metodological instrument, derived from an exercise of operationalisation of the concept of laicity, which seeks to identify the various modalities and formats of laicity in the juridical sphere, in state administration and in the political culture of Argentina. |
