| Summary: | O presente artigo discute a tendência interdisciplinar nos estudos pós-graduados em Ciências da Religião no Brasil. Procura identificar um paralelo entre a história da constituição da disciplina e o debate sobre a interdisciplinaridade no país. Ao orientar-se pela questão da interdisciplinaridade, este ensaio, antes que uma análise detalhada da história constituída e do método em questão, observa o trajeto percorrido e as tendências que nele se podem identificar. Ele se divide em dois momentos. No primeiro, destaca-se a situação inaugural da disciplina no país, considerando o contexto do surgimento dos primeiros programas de pós-graduação em Ciências da Religião na palavra de alguns de seus atores. No segundo momento, apresenta-se o debate em torno do método interdisciplinar procurando identificar uma tendência observada também na constituição das Ciências da Religião. As considerações finais situam o debate que já se avança por quase 20 anos, propondo que se assumam os riscos da tendência aqui construída, sem prejuízo para outras experiências no plano internacional para os estudos em Ciências da Religião. This article discusses the trend in interdisciplinary postgraduate studies in Science of Religion in Brazil. It tries to identify a parallel between the history of the establishment of this discipline and the debate on interdisciplinarity in the country. When guided by the question of interdisciplinarity, this essay, before a detailed analysis of the history made and the method itself, notes the path and the trends that can be identified. It is divided into two phases. In the first phase, it highlights the situation in the country’s inaugural course, considering the context of the emergence of the first graduate programs in Science of Religion in the word of some of its actors. In the second one, it presents the debate on the interdisciplinary method, once it tries to identify a trend also observed in the constitution of Science of Religion. The final comments contextualize the debate developed in the last 20 years, proposing that the risks of the trends built here may be admitted without prejudice to other international experiences in the studies of Sciences in Religion. |
