| Summary: | O objetivo principal deste artigo é descritivo. Ele pretende oferecer uma leitura do (s) significado (s) e da importância da distinção entre "conceito" (Begriff) e "representação" (Vorstellung) para o pensamento de Hegel. Mais modestamente, ele poderia servir de inspiração para uma filosofia da religião que reconheça a crucialidade das contribuições de Hegel, ainda que em nova chave. A leitura é feita "desde dentro, para trás", ou seja, com base em uma visão retrospectiva da obra de Hegel. Apesar de não privilegiar os vários textos das Preleções sobre a Filosofia da Religião, esta leitura coteja a visão madura do filósofo com suas posições sobre a questão expressas no capítulo 7C da Fenomenologia do Espírito. Mais para o final do artigo, e com o auxílio de alguns pensamentos de Paul Ricoeur, busca-se relativizar a idéia de ruptura radical entre "conceito" e "representação". Ao passo que ela faz sentido em nível macrodimensional, de história das idéias e das ideologias culturais, sua validade filosófica última é questionada por razões sistemáticas, passíveis de serem formuladas a partir da dinâmica do próprio pensamento de Hegel. This article's main goal is of a descriptive nature. It aims at offering a reading of the meaning (s) and significance of the distinction between "concept" (Begriff) and "representation" (Vorstellung) for Hegel's thought. Much more modestly, it could help to inspire a philosophy of religion which recognizes the cruciality of Hegel's contributions, even if in a new perspective. The reading follows a direction starting "from within and backwards", on the basis, that is, of a retrospective view of Hegel's work. Although it does not focus on the several texts of the Lectures on the Philosophy of Religion, this view attempts to compare the philosopher's mature views with his positions on the issue expressed in Chapter 7.C of the Phenomenology of Spirit. Closer to the end of the article, and with the help of some of Paul Ricoeur's thoughts, there is a trend towards relativizing the idea of a radical rupture between "concept" and "representation". While it makes sense on the macrodimensional leveI of the history of ideas and cultural ideologies, its ultimate philosophical validity is questioned for systematic reasons, which could be possibly formulated starting from the inner dynamics of Hegel's own thought. |
