| Summary: | This article is a qualitative research, which was used as methodological resources, direct observation, field research and conducting two interviews with the principal representative of the House of Charity Father Jacob the East. This Umbanda yard was purposely chosen to be part of the everyday reality of a village in Lagoinha region, one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city of Belo Horizonte. The research was designed to look, especially for this temple of Umbanda, taking into account their relations in space (and space) in which it is located, from a close look and inside. |
