| Summary: | This work aims to develop a discussion about the concepts of person, body and the moralities based in a research in a Afro-Brazilian religious site, located in the city of Florianópolis, State of Santa Catarina, Brazil. The discussions around the concepts of person and body are not new in Anthropological production about the so-called Afro-Brazilian Religions. As it has been largely recognized in this field of studies, Afro-Brazilian Religions are initiatic, therefore its study involves to deal with relational and constructive characteristics of persons, bodies, entities and orixás. I propose to append to this discussion the question of morality, which should be thought analyzing relations around people that share the same devotional group (família de santo). The building of body is central here, opening a sort of space in which decisions are continuously made in a flow of relations. There is an ideal form in that building of body, and along the process decisions, choices and relations are often rearranged. Seeking do not take body or person as ontological given data, it is examined flows of relations arranged along personal trajectories. |
