| Summary: | This article analyzes, from the ethnography of one of the evangelical cults promoted by Frente Parlamentar Evangélica, the relations between politics and religion in the Brazilian National Congress. Thus, this paper describes one evangelical cult understanding it as an anthropological ritual in which these congressmen invokes the religiosity and sacralizes their political activities. Besides the intercurrences and displacements between the politics time and religious time these cults promote imbrications between the pulpit and the stand when the sacred space sacralizes the good news emitted by religious congressmen in the space of the politics. |
