| Summary: | The paper presents an overview of the current relations between youth and religion. To describe these relations, the paper starts analyzing the context of changes in which the relations are embedded, emphasizing the existence of different or even paradoxical elements that allow the existence of simultaneously tradition and innovation in a variety of fields, including religion. This configuration is specially observed in the young people’s world, in which the diverse elements of the religious experience like high faith in the divine and growingly low religious practice are distinctive signs of a generation that values more the personal search than the great communal signs from the religious traditions. |
