Description
Summary:The comprehension of the meanings behind “possession” (of body and even person) in Kardecist Spiritualism has already been a topic of study in the antropological tradition. In this work I intend to present discutions leading to congnitive paths little explored and that could represent an original contribution for the subject. Therefore, I will approach Kardecist Spiritualism’ historical context of formation, when its concepts were consecrated. I will also consider theoretical perspectives borrowed from the field of hermeneutic in order to analyze, in a direct way, a specific ritual of the doctrine: the “desobsessão” sessions - a special ethnographic moment in the subjects studied.
