| Zusammenfassung: | Having the changes in the Brazilian religious scenario during the last decades as the backdrop, this article seeks to analyze how the Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus establishes the ideas rooted in its Theology of Prosperity with the conception of work, entrepreneurship and material advancement. Based on interviews conducted with followers, I examine how these doctrinal elements affect their lives, how they interpret and abide to these religious precepts, and their approach to work and success. |
