Summary: | The status of art and aesthetic perception in the thought of the French philosopher Michel Henry is, still today, an almost unexplored research area. Considering the immanent exploration of appearing and of the transcendental affectivity of life, the place that art occupies inside the global system of his material phenomenology can actually be considered as an appropriate place for an analysis. This paper, moving from a recently published book on the subject, aims to identify some avenues of research through which the need to analyze the fundamentals of this material aesthetic shows itself in a clear manner. |
