| Summary: | The status of art and aesthetic perception in the thought of the French philosopher Michel Henry is, still today, an almost unexplored research area. Considering the immanent exploration of appearing and of the transcendental affectivity of life, the place that art occupies inside the global system of his material phenomenology can actually be considered as an appropriate place for an analysis. This paper, moving from a recently published book on the subject, aims to identify some avenues of research through which the need to analyze the fundamentals of this material aesthetic shows itself in a clear manner. Lo “status” assunto dall’arte e dalla percezione estetica nell’opera del filosofo francese Michel Henry è, ancora oggi, un’area di ricerca pressoché inesplorata. L’investigazione dell’apparire e dell’affettività trascendentale della vita, rilette nella prospettiva dell’immanenza, permette di considerare appropriatamente il posto che l’arte occupa nel suo sistema globale di pensiero. Questo articolo, prendendo le mosse da un testo di recente pubblicazione, cerca di identificare alcune piste di ricerca per mezzo delle quali la necessità di analizzare gli elementi fondamentali di questa “estetica materiale” si mostra in tutta la sua evidenza.
