| Summary: | We show the crucial role of the concept of « included middle » in the thinking of Jean-François Malherbe through an analysis of the book La chouette ironique of Réal Tétreault and Jean-François Malherbe. Three characters are present in this book: the idiot, the barbarian and the heretic. The heretic invites us not to adopt the common opinions without thinking by ourselves. The mirror is the corresponding focal point as an astonishing instrument of knowledge based on the included middle logic. The multiple levels of Reality can be explored through this mirror of mirrors. Il presente saggio si propone di mostrare il ruolo cruciale del concetto di « terzo incluso » nel pensiero di Jean-François Malherbe attraverso un’anali-si del libro La chouette ironique di Réal Tétreault e Jean-François Malherbe. In questo libro sono presenti tre personaggi: l’idiota, il barbaro e l’eretico. L’eretico ci invita a non adottare le opinioni comuni senza pensare autonomamente. Le tematiche del libro trovano rispondenza nel ruolo centrale affidato allo specchio in quanto strumento straordinario di conoscenza basato sulla logica del terzo incluso. I molteplici livelli di Realtà possono essere esplorati per mezzo di questo specchio degli specchi. |
