L'actualité du christianisme vient de ce qu'il est à la fois historique et spirituel; il rend intelligible à chacun le rôle de l'homme (homme et femme) dans l'histoire cosmique et humaine dans laquelle il se trouve. Secularization tends to efface in the spiritual sphere the religious dimension of existence, by offering a total interpretation which effectively displaces the active presence of the Church in society. The reality of Christianity derives from that which is at the same time both historical and spiritual. It makes intelligible to each person the role of humans in that cosmic and human history in which each one finds himself. |
