Description
Summary:Pope Francis reaffirms the Latin American ecclesial tradition in his gestures and teachings. Puebla’s orientations, which lie between Vatican II and the Pope, constitute a link of this conciliar age realized in Latin America. The Magisterium of Francis ratifies Puebla’s fundamental teachings and sheds new light on that event, removing many doubts about its meanings and decisions, such as the see-judge-act method, the option for the poor, and God’s people church. The papal teachings thus provide a current reading key about Puebla’s teachings and elevate them to the sphere of the teachings that make up the common tradition of the church.
