Zusammenfassung:Sahl ibn Hârûn, Persian origin, is one of the prominent scholars in Arabic Literature. He was criticized because he defended the stinginess in his works. He was angry with sons of his uncle since they also criticized his views, and wrote a letter to them to defend his views about stinginess in ironic way. Jâhiz placed this letter in his book, called el-Buhalâ’ (Stingiers).
