Description
Summary:One of the concerns or goals of a Christian college is character formation. Instructors in the experimental areas of psychology with an interest in nurturing the spiritual life of their students will find unique opportunities to integrate their material with biblical truth. Courses in experimental psychology offer another language and new metaphors that can bring fresh insights and perspectives for a biblical understanding of life. Specific illustrations taken from subject matter in statistics, learning, and experimental psychology courses are discussed and applied. Students’ responses to this type of integration are also presented.
