Description
Summary:This paper aims to present three theory currents, two as the fruit of the pure social science, and a third which has a connection with theology. The three critical theories are gathered in the writings: "Assembly" (2017) by Antonio Negri and Michael Hardt; "For a left populism" (2018) by Chantal Mouffe; and, together with other texts, "Religious life and the Church in the Liberation Process" ("A vida Religiosa e a Igreja no Processo de Libertação", 1976) by Leonardo Boff. It is worth noting that we define critical theory in two parts: (a) a theory that presents social subjects as capable of producing emancipatory elements, that is, overcoming the status quo in which they are included; (b) to take into account other theories that are capable of analyzing reality.
