| Summary: | The objective of the present article is to approach the concept of revelation beyond the will of power that has been contaminated by certain theological reflection in the time of modernity. This theology has reduced the event of revelation to an ideology that seeks to give a fulfilled explanation of reality, yet without any ambiguities. In this way, the author’s starting point is the Hegelian philosophy on revelation in an attempt to show its influence upon liberal theology, as well as the resistance toward it as seen in the philosophy of Kierkeegard and in dialectical theology. This will be the scenario where the reflection on revelation in Dei Verbum becomes fully meaningful of the encounter with God in the history. The historical concept of revelation, aside from ideological reductions, has helped post-conciliar theology to understand Christianity in terms of presence and absence, word and silence. El objetivo del presente artículo es una aproximación al concepto de revelación más allá de la voluntad de poder que ha contaminado cierta reflexión teológica en el tiempo de la modernidad. Esta teología ha reducido el evento de la revelación a ideología que pretende dar una explicación cumplida de la realidad sin restos de sombras. De esta forma, el autor toma como punto de partida la filosofía hegeliana de la revelación e intenta poner de manifiesto su influencia en la teología liberal, así como la resistencia operada a la misma en la filosofía de Kierkeegard y en la teología dialéctica. Este será el escenario donde la reflexión sobre la revelación en la Dei Verbum alcanza plena significatividad entendida como el acontecimiento del encuentro con Dios en la historia. Un concepto histórico de revelación que, lejos de reducciones ideológicas, ha ayudado a la teología postconciliar a entender el cristianismo como presencia y ausencia, palabra y silencio. |
