Description
Summary:At the present time, considerable controversy rages amongst researchers about the relationship between the exponents of Nazi ideology and the sources of their "inspiration" in the various conservative-revolutionary movements of the early 20th century. An examination of the ideas and careers of five leading Nazis, Hitler, Rosenberg, Darre, Himmler and Goebbels, shows the extent of these men's dependence on, or distance from, the various political movements of the day. The author seeks to show the need for a cautious assessment, since often the similarity of vocabulary and terminology disguised more fundamental differences.
