Description
Summary:This article explores how religious organizations have influenced Chinese immigrant's conversion to evangelical Protestantism. Using data collected through ethnographic fieldwork in a major metropolitan area in the Midwest from 1998 to 2003, I describe the extensive resources devoted to evangelism by religious institutions and argue that they must play an important role in converting Chinese immigrants to evangelical Protestantism.
