L'étude montre que des événements internes à l'Egypte, et la lutte pour le pouvoir entre Tefnakht et Piye, menèrent Osée à considérer Tefnatkht comme le souverain du Delta du Nil. Ceci influença sa stratégie lorsqu'il opta pour un appel à l'aide auprès de l'Egypte. L'Auteur expose par ailleurs ses raisons pour réfuter que Osée se tourna vers Osorkon IV ou Piye. |
