Description
Summary:The present study will attempt to show that events within Egypt, and the power struggle between Tefnakht and Piye led Hosea to regard Tefnakht as the ruler of the Nile Delta, and this influenced his strategy when he decided to appeal to Egypt for help. The Author also discusses her reasons for rejecting the views that Hosea turned to Osorkon IV or Piye.
