Description
Summary:In the effort to set forth some preliminary reflections about the shape and content that an Eastern Orthodox ethic might take, the author has sought to remain consistent with the inner dynamics of Orthodox theology. Particularly in its more experiential and practical expressions that theology moves from a discussion of virtue to a reflection on love and from love to the theme of mystical union with God. This paper reflects that pattern. The author explores the subject of social ethics under the topic of the Kingdom of God.
