Summary: | Analysis of new data from 838 college students and reanalysis of data on 111 college students studied by another investigator strongly suggest that, contrary to common belief, relationships between religious references on the Twenty Statements Test, a projective instrument, and responses to various direct measures of religiosity included in questionnaires are substantially and significantly related. While it may be useful at times to distinguish between "private" and "public" religiosity, the two are far from independent of each other. |
